TRAINING AND COMPLIANCE 

JOB TITLE: Training and Compliance                                                                                                                         

WORKPLACE: Mogalakwena Private Hospital (Mokopane)                                                   

POSITION TYPE: Permanent

Purpose:

To coordinate and oversee staff training and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards, promoting a culture of continuous professional development, quality improvement, and regulatory adherence across the organisation.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Develop, coordinate, and monitor mandatory and ongoing staff training programmes in line with regulatory and hospital requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with healthcare legislation, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate training records, compliance registers, and audit documentation.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor expiry dates for licenses, certifications, and mandatory training to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Promote a culture of quality improvement, ethical practice, and regulatory adherence throughout the hospital.

Qualifications:

  • Matric Certificate.
  • Proven experience in healthcare training, compliance or quality assurance.        

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with healthcare compliance and staff training and development.

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent training, facilitation, and presentational skills.
  • Strong organisational and record keeping skills.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
