PHARMACY CASHIER
JOB TITLE: CASHIER
WORKPLACE: Mogalakwena Private Hospital (Mokopane)
POSITION TYPE: Permanent
Purpose: To provide accurate and efficient point-of-sale services within the pharmacy, ensuring correct billing, secure handling of payments, excellent customer service, and compliance with hospital financial and operational policies.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Accurately process all payments (cash, card, medical aid, and account transactions) and issue receipts in line with company policies.
- Reconcile daily takings, manage the allocated float, ensure outstanding COD payments are settled, and secure all funds at end of shift.
- Maintain front-shop merchandising standards and monitor stock levels, notifying the Pharmacist of replenishment needs.
- Ensure proper stock rotation practices (FIFO principles) are consistently applied.
Qualifications:
- Matric Certificate.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a cashier.
Skills and Attributes:

- Dependable, accountable, and trustworthy.
